When did you do something out of the norm?

When I did something that is not normal or different from others people look at me confused or differently. Like the way I dress to pop out or the way I do stuff that pops out. Doing what other people don't do isn't wrong it just makes you unique that your different.  Summary: Today in class we went over a presentation and we read about a peom. Reflection: I got to understand a deeper meaning of Emily Dickensons peom.

Dickinson uses the metaphor of a funeral to describe her inner struggles. What metaphor would you use to describe your own mind?

A metaphor that I would use to describe my own mind is "My mind is full of pictures and audios of different people within a camera roll all timed and edited." This is a metaphor I would describe my mind by which is a camera. It shows how things are just placed in my mind and replayed over and over again. With voices of people I heard and things I have experienced.  Summary: Today in class I worked on CommonLit and my Blog post. Reflection: I read articles I never heard of and answered questions.

Write about an adventure you would like to go on.

An adventure I would like to go on would be in heaven. A world with unicorns, beauty, and blissfulness. A world where you can only dream of a world, in which you only get to experience in a once in a lifetime. Where you could fly, eat whatever foods you want and explore a beautiful dream in heaven. Life up in the fluffy white clouds, bright yellow sun, fresh cotton candy air is all I ever dreamed of. A world where I would wanna stay hours and hours there to never let go. Summary: Today in class we took a quick quiz. Reflection: I took the quiz and realized all the answers were A and I hadn't studied at all because I thought we weren't gonna have the quiz.

Describe something you will never fully understand.

Something that I will never understand is how teachers give us a bunch of work not understanding that we have 6 other classes. We have our first period, second, third, forth, fifth, sixth and even seventh and we still have to complete every single one of if. I get teachers grade work and stuff from all of their classes but sometimes we have projects, tests, and even quizzes in each class. Work in class is then taken home to do which wouldn't be one class but six other classes. Just one day we would have a whole bunch of assignments. Summary: Today in class we presented our myths. Reflection: I heard from different myths from different people with very nice stories.

Write about something that you wish you had more of.

Something that I wished to have more of is toys. Not like childish toys, but actual figurines. As in Pop Mart toys, those beautiful, shiny, and small little figures. I like opening them from little blind boxes into blind bags. Those are so satisfying and so fun to open. You don't know what your gonna get, but your still excited to see what you get. Especially, if you get a common, rare, or ultra rare. Those are the most exciting. Blind boxes also come in a whole box with other blind boxes you can get. Different figures and other beautiful designs. I love collecting them and store them in my room to look at. Even if I don't play with it I still love to keep them and collect them.  Summary: Today in class Mr. Rease read about peoples blog posts and talking about them.  Reflection: Today I worked on my new blog post and continued to work on my presentation.

What is the most creative thing you have ever made? Share what it was and explain why it stands out as your best work.

The most creative thing I ever made is a house and a car. This stands out to me the most because it was very detailed and hard to create. It was a small car that was able to move on its wheels around the house. The house was small and detailed with different rooms for miniature people. It took me 3 days to build it while planning it in my head. This stands out out of all my work because it pops out the most. With its vibrant color and out of all. I built food and other random stuff this is the best out of all my masterpieces. Summary: Today in class we were introduced to make a digital presentation on our myth. Reflection: I worked on my story myth and digital presentation.

Everyone has burning questions about life. Mysteries we wonder about but don’t always have clear answers for. Think about your biggest questions about existence, purpose, or the world around you. Write a blog post where you share at least two of your most burning questions about life and explain why these questions matter to you.

My biggest questions are about after you die. I heard many people believe in the afterlife. But is there really an afterlife after you die? I believe in angels and devils and all that godly stuff. But when your die where does your soul go? Heaven or hell does your body stay in the tomb and you have a resurrection? Another question I have is when I am born do I ever get any signs of who I was before? Was I male or female before this life? What happened to me and can I recover my memories of what happened before me? Summary: We are starting to create our own myths in class from what we read last week. Reflection: I am working on my myth and rough draft, creating ideas.

Describe a time you felt completely lost?

A time I felt completely lost was in school during math class. We were learning about something new in advanced math class and since its advanced things teach more quickly than other classes. I am a little slow when it comes to math because I have to understand every single concept that's going on. The teacher was teaching something new last year and it seems like the whole class understood it but I didn't. I understood some things but I need a more clear explanation to fully understand what was taught in class today. Furthermore, the teacher assigned practice problems when finished and I did not know how to do them.     Summary: Today In class we did presentations from our myth last Friday.  Reflection: Today I presented in class with my group and we finished our slides from last week.

Analyze how you’ve adapted to the demands of this course over the past week, and evaluate one strength and one challenge you anticipate as we progress, justifying your insights with personal examples.

I have been studying and reading multiple stories about urban legends and myths to fully understand what the concept of this course is. As we continue I will continue writing and making sure I fully understand and read stories carefully and analyze what they are talking about and understand deeper meaning. For example, I have been annotating and read passages or poems carefully over and over again. Once for what the main story is a about then a few other times to fully convey what the passage is about. Summary: In class today we did an Illuminate over urban myths that we have learned over the past week. Reflection: What I took from today's class is to understand how to read passages well and re-read them multiple times for a different point of view.

Describe a real-life situation in which jealousy negatively affected a relationship you experienced.

Jealousy negatively affected a relationship I experienced by having opposite gender friends. During the relationship we had arguments now and then over small things but that just means we care. But during the time when you're into someone you can feel jealousy over them because of who they talk to or interact with. He was jealous of who I talk to, not just same gender friends but opposite genders too. I didn't have a bunch but he got very jealous that it negatively affected our relationship and trust. From there we turned into long distance and he got worried about my guy friends since we don't go to the same schools. He would still love me but sometimes his jealousy and trust gets over the top that we have arguments over it. From the look of it it affected our relationship a lot that I would have to stop talking with them for him to feel reassured.  Summary: Today we read a story called "Jealous Father" and did a group presentation about the story. Write about a meaningful object or place in your life that carries a story.

An object that carries my story is my journal. Every day I write in my journal each day in different pages. Each page everyday is a new story and chapter. Every time I write it brings a connection towards my life and each detail every day. My journal is meaningful to me because I could be scrap-booking in it and drawing not just writing. My whole life is in there every day. The days in my life everyday hold a story in my journal that opens to new pages and new things. I carry it everywhere towards new destinations of my journey.  Summary: In class today we read about a myth called the Navajo Creation where it talks about an object turning into 4 different places where humans find a right way to live and harvest. Reflection: What I took away from this story is that you don't take things for granted but once a door closes another door opens.

Write about a time you felt connected to nature, like the kinship in Native American myths.

A time that I have felt connected to nature would be when animals would be killed for peoples needs or pollution. The universe these days have a huge amount of population around the world. Trash and other resources are being polluted and this affects animals that eat it or the plants that grow. Animals are also being killed for peoples needs which is a sad way of how nature works. I feel very sad and sorrowful for this problem around the world. Native Americans have lived through years and years of a connection through nature and the history of beliefs. Summary : In class today I learned about Native Americans oral literature and the differences between Myths, Religion, and Urban Legends.  Reflection: What I took from today's class would be to understand how Native Americans differ from their history of literature and different types of mythological literature.
