Prompt: If you had to write a poem about your life RIGHT NOW, what would it be about? Explain your answer in at least 4 to 5 sentences.

If I had to write a poem right now about my life, it would be about just going with the flow of things. Basically, just about how life works and to take your time going through it. How it might not be the way you wanted it to be, but you still live through it. My poem wouldn't be too long so it would be pretty short to describe the symbol of life.  Summary: Today in class we learned about Rhetorical Analysis. Reflection: I finished my blog post and notes.

Prompt: When you are in a mood that you do not like, what are some strategies that you use to change your mood?

Things that I use to change my mood is to think about the things I like to get over it. I really don't do anything except go with the flow but if anything could change my mood it would just be home. My mood doesn't really change, it really stays the same the whole day nothing makes me really happy rather than the things I like.  Summary: We worked on Common Lit Reflection: I finished my CommonLit work

Prompt: Describe your personal approach to creativity. What steps do you follow when you’re working on a project. Tell me about a project you created that you were most proud of.

I don't have a project that I'm the most proud of, I actually have many creative projects I'm proud of. When I start working on a project I first plan things out then I start working on the project immediately. I put in my drawing skills and ideas in my head right onto the paper. I'm very creative so any project I always put my best. Summary: Today in class we worked in writable contrasting between a story and vocabulary words.  Reflection: I finished my writable assignment and blog post.

Prompt: After two weeks of studying rhetorical devices, types of rhetoric, and methods for identifying rhetorical techniques, which rhetorical device do you find most effective or compelling, and why?

After studying for weeks, the Rhetorical Device that I like to use as the most effective is litotes. I think this device is the most effective for me because I like the way its used and how sarcastic it is. Like if I were to talk about something or say that I don't like something I could just use litotes to make it sound better. Summary: In class we took the rhetorical devices test. Reflection: I did well on my test and finished my blog post.

Prompt: Choose a vocabulary word that resonates with you personally. Write a blog post explaining why this word is significant to you, including any personal memories or experiences that link you to the word.

The word that resonates with me the most is an anecdote.  This word means a lot to me because every moment in my life is a short story. This word reminds me of a snake. The anaconda snake. Nothing relating to my past or life, but I do think snakes are cool. The vocabulary word anecdote has meaning to every new story that opens up to new experiences.  Summary: In class we did Vocabulary Lesson 7. Reflection: I finished my vocabulary.

Prompt: Write about a time you didn’t feel like yourself.

A time I didn't feel like myself is in school. Every day I come to school I don't feel like me. I am different depending on where I go. In school I'm different because of the people around me and because of school. At home I have my bed and I love my bed and my home.  Summary: In class we read about Martin Luther King Junior and we did a Rhetorical analysis on him. Reflection: I have to finish my rhetorical analysis on Martin Luther King Jr.

Prompt: Describe a place where you feel the most at peace and explain why.

The place where I feel peace at most is my home. My bed is where I feel most comfortable and relaxed and just basically at home with my family. I feel at peace when I'm alone on my bed because after school I am very tired. This helps me focus later on when I do homework and have motivation to do other things.  Summary: We did vocabulary work today.  Reflection: I finished my blog post and vocabulary practice.

Prompt: Reflect on a time when you had to rely on someone else. How did it feel?

A time when I had to rely on someone else was during a group project in math when I didn't know how to do it. I had to rely on her to know some of the information. I had done the homework from the day before, but I didn't understand a lot. So we were working on it together but she had to do most of the work while I figure out the equations.  Summary: Today in class we worked on an assignment over the different Rhetorical types.  Reflection: I didn't finish mine as a group but I will continue working on it at home.

Make sure you know how to use your time wisely and make sure you study well.  Summary: We went over the different Rhetorical types.  Reflection: I finished my blog post and understood the lesson.

I also spent time at home doing my hobbies that I like doing like drawing, painting, and journaling.       My first goal that I plan to achieve is to improve my time on studying.   This goal is important because I want to improve my grades and have time to study.
