Prompt: Write about a time when you realized you needed to look out for yourself in a silly or harmless situation—maybe dodging a pop quiz, escaping a group chat argument, or remembering at the last second to submit an assignment. How did choosing wisely make your life easier?

        A time when I realized I needed to look out for myself in a silly situation is when I was when I was presenting a group project and the grade was counted as a huge portion, I had to actually focus. My group was funny and I would have laughed but I had to stay calm and serious so we get this project done. The way my group says stuff and does stuff is very awkward so, how could you not laugh? But for a decent grade.... I have to keep it in. 

Summary: Today in class we finished the story and we watched a video on it.

Reflection: I answered questions about the story and finished reading and understanding it as a class.

Write about a time you felt connected to nature, like the kinship in Native American myths.

      A time that I have felt connected to nature would be when animals would be killed for peoples needs or pollution. The universe these days have a huge amount of population around the world. Trash and other resources are being polluted and this affects animals that eat it or the plants that grow. Animals are also being killed for peoples needs which is a sad way of how nature works. I feel very sad and sorrowful for this problem around the world. Native Americans have lived through years and years of a connection through nature and the history of beliefs. Summary : In class today I learned about Native Americans oral literature and the differences between Myths, Religion, and Urban Legends.  Reflection: What I took from today's class would be to understand how Native Americans differ from their history of literature and different types of mythological literature.

Prompt: As you grow older and face new experiences, what issue or topic do you think you'll have to stand up and debate most often, whether with friends, family, or society?

 As I get older and face new things, I think the thing I will most worry about is growing up. The process of growing up takes a long time from when you are young. Getting to know and understand new things may be challenging. Like not knowing how money works in the real world, or having to have money for everything in life that you are going to do. Like food, a home, your job, and a car. All those apply to money and how you will get it. Part of the adult process is including all those things. Then you have to start a family and take care of that, now for me I still feel young and that process will take a lot and getting used to it.  Summary: Today In class our teacher went over presentations about the 3 literary forms of writing. He then talked about the beginnings of how to start an essay. Reflection: Today in class I worked on examples and started to understand how the 3 claims work.
