Reflect on a time when you paused to appreciate the beauty of nature, much like the speaker in “Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening.” Where were you, what did you notice, and how did that moment of stillness make you feel or change your perspective?

A time when I paused to appreciate the beauty of nature was when I go to parks. That moment in the park made me feel at peace and comforting. It made me feel alone and one with nature with just trees and flowers. The beauty it brings is divine and calm and helps me relax while looking at the scenery. Just like in the poem the speaker stood there a while letting it all in. Just like how you are outside and let the air in. Summary: In class we read a new poem and read our own poems. Reflection: I am working on my one reply thing towards the poem that I read and am making it colorful and creative.

Prompt: In the poem, the speaker and his neighbor meet each year to repair a wall. Describe a time when you had to set or respect a boundary with a friend, family member, or classmate. How did it help or hurt your connection with that person?

A time when I had to set boundaries was when I have guy friends. Usually for girls that have guy friends at least one of them like you. They show it slowly by expressing how they talk to you and give you stuff. But, trying to be friends with them only is harder then just not talking to them. When I have guy friends I would not want them to like me because I wouldn't feel the same way and I would just want to keep them as friends. But in the end it hurt our friendship when we stopped talking because I started ignoring the person. Summary: In class our teacher wasn't here today so we worked on our ComminLit assignment and our blog post. Reflection: I finished my blog post and ComminLit.

Prompt: Both poems by Robert Frost explore the passage of time and life’s changing moments. Write about a time when something in your life changed more quickly than you expected. How does this experience connect to Frost’s idea that “Nothing gold can stay”?

A time when life changed faster than I expected was when I'm in middle school and now I'm in high school. This experience connects to Frost's ideas where life changes by contrasting how time moves quickly and we can't keep things forever except just enjoying the moment. Nothing amazing or beautiful stays when time goes. Summary: In class today we read Frost's poems and answer questions. Reflection: I finished the reading questions based on Frost's poem.

Prompt: As we think about our upcoming Vocabulary Monday, tell me what is your favorite word RIGHT NOW? Why is it your faovorite word and how often do you use it?

My favorite word right now is "oh." I use this word a lot because in school I am super tired and I don't like to talk a lot around specific people. I rather not talk and be at calmness with myself. I like being alone a lot but when people say I am lonely I am not actually lonely and I just enjoy my own company. "Oh" a phrase that I use often when I don't like talking or just to answer someones question. I really like this phrase its easy and simple. Summary: Today we worked on our presentation from yesterday. Reflection: I had already finished it, I just worked on my blog post.

In “Birches,” Robert Frost celebrates imagination as a way to escape life’s difficulties and reconnect with innocence. The speaker wishes to “get away from earth awhile” but also understands that he must eventually return to reality. Think about the role of imagination in your own life. How does imagination help you cope with challenges, boredom, or stress?

From the poem imagination helps me cope with stress and boredom when I lay down and start dreaming. When I'm bored I lay down and close my eyes and just think. It helps me calm down with peace and escape from reality. My imagination goes beyond when I'm by myself so my mind just goes to memories where I'm happy or moments I can't forget. Summary: Today in class we read a new poem and did our writable response. Reflection: I finished my presentation and did my writable.

After reading “Out, Out—” by Robert Frost, reflect on a time when you faced a dangerous or high-pressure situation that demanded your complete focus. What made the situation risky, and how did your concentration affect the outcome?

During a final exam in a subject I found challenging, the pressure was long going. I only had a limited time to answer the hard questions, and a low score would really impact my overall grade. I was so focused as I worked through each problem, rereading questions to ensure I understood them fully and double-checking my answers to avoid  mistakes. By having intense focus, even when I felt overwhelmed, I was able to complete the exam. Then in the end I achieved a much better result than I had thought. Summary: Today in class we read a new poem and analyzed it.  Reflection: I comprehended and understood the poem.

Prompt: Write about what you did over the Fall Break.

Over fall break, I had a relaxing and productive time. I started by catching up on sleep and enjoying some quiet mornings. I also had time to read a new novel and binge-watching a favorite TV show. Mid-break, I visited my family, which involved lots of chatting and delicious home-cooked meals. To balance the relaxation, I also spent a few days catching up on schoolwork and getting ahead on some assignments. Overall, it was a great mix of rest and family time. Summary: We worked on our vocabulary practice. Reflection: I finished my comic to practice my vocabulary.

Prompt: How do you find time to enjoy your day, even when you have a lot going on? Write about at least three specific things you do to enjoy small moments throughout your day.

When I have a lot going on in my day I just do little things that make me happy. First, I watch my shows, like dramas I'm actually more of a romance and fantasy so I love watching my Asian dramas. They make me extremely happy and excited. Secondly, I like crocheting and I like finishing stuff I haven't started or just making something I like. I follow the exact patterns and crochet them. Lastly, I love to cook. I am not a professional but I'm a pro beginner. I love food and learning new things so it makes me really happy to eat food I cooked and just looking at food in general. Summary: Today in class we worked on our writable prompts. Reflection: I finished my writable prompt and blog post.

Prompt: Describe a time when someone’s words had a lasting impact on you.

A time when someones words had a lasting impact on me was when I was watching a show on YouTube and it was a 1 hour YouTube video. The show is a funny show making you laugh, actors and narrators perform and play games together to make people laugh. It's not a children' s show but it's for people all ages telling stories, plays, and songs. The narrator (one who's talking) asks A question about if you have any regrets. A grandpa on the stage(not that old but about 60) said the most important thing that he regretted when he was young was not exercising so now he could be overweight or just too lazy. So when I am young now I exercise.  Summary: Today in class we had a lesson about internal and external writing.  Reflection: I worked on my blog post and writable.

Prompt: Write about a moment when you had to step out of your comfort zone.

A moment where I had to step out of my comfort zone was when I went on those jumpy things at the mall for kids. I usually don't play on those because its very childish and only little kids go on their. I thought it would be embarrassing because I'm a teenager now and teens don't do stuff like that. But I think, why do I care what other teens think. My happiness doesn't depend on some random kids that are my age that I don't even know either. It depends on me and if I want to play and have fun or not. In the end I went on it. It was so fun and exciting it was like I was flying like a kid. Summary: In class we worked on writable and read a passage to write our own argument essay. Reflection: I read the story about the Vietnam war and worked on my blog post.

Prompt: Write about a dream that felt real.

The only dreams that feel real to me are the dreams where I am in a deep sleep and for some reason I am also texting someone in that dream. Like how I text my friends in my every day life everyday. But this time its a text that's between me and someone I like, like a partner. In the dream it's a deep conversation, but its not a happy conversation its a sad and scary conversation. Not the type of scary like creepy but it's something that I don't want to happen, and it happens. Those dreams feel so real that when I wake up I had imagined I had already texted the person but in reality I didn't. Summary: Today in class we worked on our vocabulary and Newsela reading articles.  Reflection: I finished my vocabulary sheet and turned it in as well as my blog.

Prompt: Write about something you’ve always been curious about.

I have always been curious about why people don't like to eat lettuce. Like greens, vegetables, I don't believe it can be that bad. Like I get the taste might not be to your liking as well as the texture like chewing on thin paper that has flavor. But vegetables are healthy for you and can help improve lots of things. You don't have to eat it raw of course you can eat it with other things. You can even boil it or fry it, you don't have to eat it like a salad or just by itself. You can make it however you like with all different seasonings and everything. Summary: Today in class we worked on our writable prompts to finish our drafts. Reflection: I finished my blog post and writable prompt.

Prompt: Write about the best gift you have received.

The best gift I received would be these LOL, surprise toys. I love unboxing things and opening them to get something special. Something I have no idea about. They are so cute and you can play with them and mix and match their clothing. It was so fun you can decide what they wear. There are other dolls too you can get and unbox each LOL is different depending on the themes they have. Every season the theme is super unique and fun! Not that I feel like I am too old for all of this but still, anyone can be a kid and it brings you back to the old days. Summary: Today in class we had a presentation about how to compose body paragraphs. Reflection: I worked on my prompt in writable.
