Which aspect of creating a poem do you enjoy the most? Tell what it is and explain why.

The aspect I enjoy most when creating a poem is the rhyming parts. The words that sound the same in the end of each line. Those are the most interesting to create to match another word when reading it out loud. They have a good rhyme to it which actually makes the poem sound more nice and proficient. I also like how a poem looks when first starting to consider what to write about. I like the beginning parts to creating a poem the aspect of thinking what it's gonna be about and what figurative language we are going to use.

Summary: Today in class we looked over a power-point about figurative language.

Reflection: We started writing our poem.

Write about something that you wish you had more of.

Everyone has burning questions about life. Mysteries we wonder about but don’t always have clear answers for. Think about your biggest questions about existence, purpose, or the world around you. Write a blog post where you share at least two of your most burning questions about life and explain why these questions matter to you.

Reflect on a time when you paused to appreciate the beauty of nature, much like the speaker in “Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening.” Where were you, what did you notice, and how did that moment of stillness make you feel or change your perspective?
